The following changes will be effective from the 6th of July -

  • 102 to return to every 20 minutes, and also to operate all the way through to Nantgarw.
  • 905 to restart, with a timetable designed to meet revised train timetable
  • X1 to increase to 30 minute frequency (Mon – Sat). Sunday unchanged
  • 901 new timetable to meet revised train timestable
  • 900 to restart (Blackwood shops)
  • Bro Edern school transport timetable changes to match school times. (Search 'Cardiff school services' on our Covid-19 page)

The following changes will be effective from the 13th July -

  • 304 to operate hourly from Cardiff to Llantwit Major and two-hourly from Llantwit Major to Bridgend

The following changes will be effective from Monday the 29th of June -

  • Cardiff School Transport - Please visit the 'Covid-19' page or click here - 'Cardiff School Services' & download timetable for all service times. 
  • T6 - Added 0805 Ystradgynlais to Swansea trip & 1845 from Brecon to Ystradgynlais. Also additional changes to each trip. 
  • 62 - New timetable.
  • 64 - New timetable, a new 0730 Upper Brynamman to Ystradgynlais. 
  • 43 - School day timetable.
  • 46 - School day timetable.
  • 35 - Monday to Friday Only.
  • 45 - Monday to Friday Only. 
  • 117 - will operate Burry Green to Bishopston Comprehensive school.

From Tuesday the 26th of May services 102 & 106 will replace the 112 service Monday to Saturday following increased patronage and to ensure social distancing. The 112 will be unchanged on Sunday's.

From the 26th of May, services 103 & 104 will also now serve Sainsbury's, Pontypridd in both directions.

From Monday 20th April, the T1C TrawsCymru service will be suspended until further notice. The last day of operation will be on Sunday the 19th of April.

From Monday 20th April, the 404 service from Pontypridd to Talbot Green will be extended to Bridgend, following its previous route. The service will now operate two-hourly Monday to Saturday between Pontypridd and Bridgend. The timetable for this can be downloaded or viewed here.

Following the change on the 901 Rail Linc service the 900 service will be withdrawn. The new 901 timetable has been introduced to match the latest TfW schedules.

At the request of the local authority the T6 will now only operate Monday to Saturday, with the Sunday service withdrawn until further notice.

At the requst of the Welsh Government and the temporary withdrawl of flights from Cardiff Airport, the T9 will be withdrawn from 2nd April 2020.

Following the ongoing advice issued by the Government which recommends that all non-essential travel should be avoided, we need to adjust our timetables to match current demand and to ensure we can deliver our services. The following changes will come into effect from Wednesday 1st April and will be in place until further notice.

Our Cardiff School services are likely to finish very soon. We are NOT running buses to St Teilos, St Illtyds, Corpus Christi or Llanishen schools. Other Cardiff school services are running, but we expect to announce soon that these will stop running, following liaison with the local authority.

Newport school services will not operate.


Will run normal timetable until 1900hrs. Journeys between 1900hrs and 0000hrs will be temporarily cancelled (as there are now no evening flights) from 28th March onwards.


Will run a Sunday timetable on all days from 28th March onwards.


Mon to Sat: Route FIVE will be cancelled altogether.

Mon to Sat: Route X5 will run hourly.


Mon to Sat: Route X1 will be reduced to a 20-minute frequency with some late journeys temporarily cancelled.

Sun: Unchanged.
